The Owls Are Watching

How to reach those who think sexual harassment is a once-in-a-lifetime event that happens just to a very small subset of people?

How to do this in a way that’s liberating, empowering, and fun, a sensation not often associated with the words “sexual harassment”?

The Owls are Watching, 1353 origami owls installed in the St. Mark’s Nave, the Foyer, and the Parish Hall, is an answer-in-progress.

Join the Parliament of Owls on February 2, from 6pm to 8pm, in the Parish Hall, and learn more. We’ll take questions and talk about how we got drawn in, how we drew in passersby, what surprised us, and how we plan to spread the effort beyond St. Mark’s. Bring your curiosity and something to share and learn to fold an owl.
